Process & Energy

Logo Delft University of TechnologyThe Delft University of Technology or TU Delft is one of the three technical universities in The Netherlands. The groups participating in this research programme are the Fluid Mechanics Section (or Laboratory for Aero & Hydrodynamics) and the Ship Hydromechanics Section, which are both part of the Faculty of Mechanical, Maritime and Materials Engineering (3mE). Both groups are also member of the J.M. Burgerscentrum, the Dutch research school for fluid mechanics.

Materials Science & Engineering

Logo Delft University of TechnologyDelft University of Technology (DUT) is one of the world’s leading engineering institutes and focuses its research efforts on four important societal themes, each covered by a research initiative: Energy, Health, Environment and Transport and Mobility. The Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) within DUT focuses on multidisciplinary activities, centred on materials science and engineering, involving research of relevance to industry and society in the medium and long term. The mission of the Corrosion Technology and Electrochemistry Group within MSE, involved in this project, is to gain fundamental knowledge of local corrosion processes and promote education and best practices in corrosion control for the socio-economic benefit of society, preservation of resources and protection of the environment.
